A Brooklyn Dr. Marvin Lagstein attended Brooklyn College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After two years of specialty training at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, he became a Pediatric Dentist in 1972 and started his own practice in New Jersey.

After extensively studying orthodontics, he grew extremely knowledgeable in children’s growth and development and incorporated this knowledge into Pediatric Orthodontics. As years went by, many of his orthodontic patients’ parents were so impressed with the results Dr. Lagstein gave their children, and he began practicing orthodontics on adults.

He also taught and lectured at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for fifteen years with the title of Associate Professor.
