What's New
May 11th, 2011
Nashua Wrangler customers can now find the 2011 Jeep Wrangler at Contemporary CDJ. The 2011 Jeep Wrangler is the latest edition to Jeep’s iconic line of sturdy and capable vehicles. Jeep is celebrating 70 years in business, and the popularity of the Wrangler has never abated in that time. Under the Wrangler’s hood is a 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 202 horsepower and 237 pound-feet of torque. Transmission is available in 4 or 6-speed automatic, depending on the trim level (Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon.)
Nashua Wrangler fans can expect all the off-road capabilities that Jeep is known for. The Rubicon trim is particularly enhanced for off-read performance. Rubicon has an incredible 73.3:1 crawl ratio, allowing for a controlled 0.5 mph cruise up or down the rocks. High crawl ratios keep the vehicle slow for more control on the rock.
For especially rocky terrain, the Wrangler has Mopar Rock Rails. These rails are constructed of heavy gauge steel tubing to take on the toughest trails. They are fully functional and provide added lower body-side protection when off-roading. Rock rails have passed stringent corrosion and appearance testing for long life.
In addition, the Electronic Throttle Control system helps prevent the jerky “pedal bobble” that often occurs when in 4WD-low (4LO) mode. The system’s special off-road calibrations help the driver to “feather in” the throttle over uneven terrain, logs and rocks. The difference is night and day, and is akin to walking instead of bouncing along tough off-road events.

For entertainment and convenience, the 2011 Jeep Wrangler, available for Nashua Wrangler fans, uses the Advanced Uconnect system. Advanced Uconnect Media Center radios let drivers store thousands of songs, select playlists, play videos, view photos and more. The Wrangler also comes with Sirius Satellite Radio, providing over 130 channels of news, sports, comedy, and commercial-free music.
The Boston Acoustics® Audio System, available on the Limited at Contemporary CDJ, includes four 6×9-inch full range speakers, two 3.5-inch tweeters and a 276-watt digital amplifier. It provides a smooth octave-to-octave tonal balance and a distortion- free presentation worthy of audiophiles everywhere.
Uconnect also uses Garmin GPS. Garmin is the name recognized by drivers everywhere as the dependable, must-have navigation tool. The new radio features Garmin’s intuitive user interface, and brings the Garmin consumer experience to a factory in-dash audio.
